In the hospital it may have been all hands on deck to help with breastfeeding, just because you’ve gone home does NOT mean you’re alone. Hello to you and your addition!
I am extremally passionate about lactation, newborn education, and promoting comfort and confidence in newborn care for the whole family. I bring over six years experience as a Registered Nurse in the Mother/Baby unit with great assessment, critical thinking, and lactation skills. I promote positive relationships with all members of the families and focusing on overall care of not just the newborns but also my Mamas. I strive to ensure medical safety, optimal feeding outcomes, and education for the whole family unit. At times we’ll refocus on mom, and remind her that her health physically wellness and mental wellness is also part of healing post delivery. Let me join you and help you in this season of learning, nurturing, and growing. I am not only a registered nurse but I am also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and can assist with all your breastfeeding needs and concerns. Weather you’ve cared for a newborn before or not, I am here to help build your confidence and skills that this new addition to the family needs. I involve the siblings too!
